ARE YOU INVOLVED?
Thanks for your interest in serving at The W Church. Your involvement matters because your service does make a difference. The links below describe many of the service opportunities where we need your help. Please look around and then click on the area in which you would like to volunteer.
THE W KIDS
(BIRTH - 6TH GRADE)
The W Kids has a place for you whether you like to run around with Elementary students or rock a baby to sleep in the Nursery, welcome new families to the W or teach children Bible stories during a weekend service. Whatever it is that God has given you a passion for, the W Kids has a place for you to use your gifts and abilities to invest in the next generation.
THE W STUDENTS
(7TH - 12TH GRADE)
In student ministries we believe that Jesus + a caring adult + a student = good stuff. We believe that ministry is built on relationships shared amongst staff, adults, and students. Relationships are the key to helping students feel loved and understand God’s love in a practical way. This is when real spiritual growth takes place in a student’s life. We are looking for men and women who have a commitment to Christ and a desire to care for students.
Statistics show that the average person decides whether they’ll come back to a church within seven minutes upon arriving. With that being said, the environment they walk into from the beginning is important. Our goal in every interaction is to exceed expectations of hospitality and to ensure everyone leaves our service feeling loved.
If you’re a gifted musician or vocalist and love the Lord, worship ministries might be the right spot for you. We are currently in the process of creating a rotation of musicians who are willing to use their gifts to lead our church in worship through music. Please sign up if you are interested in auditioning for our worship rotation.
Are you technologically savvy with a desire to use this gift in shaping our worship services? Do you have a passion for creating an environment where people can worship God? Our production team is responsible for the sound mix, videography, and Iighting of our weekend services.
SET UP & TEAR DOWN
Are you the kind of person that says, “Just give me something to do!"? Maybe you have a passion for tangibly getting things accomplished. The set-up and tear down team might be a perfect fit. Put on a rotating schedule, you would commit to helping set-up and/or tear down those things that are necessary for the success of a Sunday service. For example, our patio is transformed into a place of fellowship with the setting up of tables, canopies, signs, etc.
